It's Monday?

.....It's Wednesday morning here at work. All the intelligent people took the entire week off this week. After last night I wish I had as well. :-) The neighborhood kids were up until almost 1AM this morning lighting off the fireworks. At least that's when I think that they stopped. That's when I finally fell asleep. :-) When the alarm rang at 4AM I slept right through it until about 4:30 and then had to play catch-up. It's going to be a loooonnnnggggg day. :-) But hopefully, with everyone taking today off, the phone will stay quiet for a while and I can take it at a little slower pace. :-) Maybe even get a few more boxes packed. Man, you collect a lot of JUNK being at the same desk for eight years. :-)
.....Had a pretty good weekend I think. Got a lot of stuff started, finished nothing though. But all the starts were good. On Saturday the house was cleaned and Lobelia scrubbed down. Got her pretty much ready for July Coronation. Still have to fill the water tank and load her down with non-perishables. Should be able to do that next Sunday.
.....Got a start on the August issue of The Crier on Sunday. Then went over to Rich and Wendy's for the annual Richard Bar-B-Que. Lots of food as usual. Stuffed myself. I actually gained a couple of pounds this weekend from all the good food. The doctor said that I needed to watch that intake. The extra pounds should fall off pretty quickly though. I avoided all the really bad foods. :-)
.....On Monday was able to get some more work done on circlets. Have about a dozen to make. Got six orders waiting in the queue. Now, a half way intelligent person would have shut down his web-site when faced with having July Coronation AND The Crier to get out the door in July, but nooooooooo, not me. :-) I did raise my prices here a short time ago, so I'm at least making minimum wage again with Ingasbo. For a while there I was losing money just from how much costs had gone up for all the raw materials. Not good.
.....Monday afternoon I took time off to go and have dinner with Rich and Wendy and then we went to see Superman. It was O.K., maybe somewhat on the pretentious side. Certainly not in the spirit of the comic books (at least the older ones I remember reading when I was a kid back in prehistoric times :-)).
.....Tuesday was the most productive day of the long weekend. Made it through final grinding and most of the major polishing of the circlets. Only have final polishing and then shaping left to go. Made it through all the months submissions for the August Crier. Dumped it all into Notebook to strip off unneeded formatting and saved it all in preparation for dumping into The Crier itself. Just waiting for a few more vital submissions before I start putting everything together.
.....I still managed to find time this weekend to get Constabulary issues finalized for July Coronation and get Gold Key clothing organized. Working on the final 'to-do' lists for J.C. We're in the single digits for number of days until the fun starts. I'm sitting pretty good. Only a couple of worrisome things. The shuttle service is still somewhat in limbo. Don't have enough volunteers up front to man the side roads to prevent ghosting on Friday and Saturday. But have plans in the works for both (as well as emergency contingencies to back them up). Final report to the Kingdom Event Deputy goes out tonight as well as to the Business Meeting. Lots still left to do.
.....Then there is the response to Marquessa Laurellen's sonnet. The sonnet is incredible. I'm not sure how I will approach this one. It's going to have to wait until after July Coronation for some proper attention. :-)
.....Gotta run. Probably put most of you to sleep anyway. :-)
.....Arontius.
