Of Playboy Magazines and Many Memories.

.....I've packed all of my Playboy Magazine collection. Tomorrow it goes to a new home and a new caretaker, Talon. There are three decades of magazines in this collection. Almost every single issue since January, 1977. It took four large rubbermaid bins to take them all. I shall miss them, but not for the obvious reasons. As I placed them into the bins I thought about each year that I was holding. The women were beautiful, in a staged sort of way. All posed provocatively. With all the right curves and lusty positions. But in reality none of them has what Tamm has. They are missing that electric sparkle in their eyes. And certainly missing is that smile that drives me wild. That wild smirk that informs the viewer to tread lightly with this one lest you really want to live dangerously. And, of course, the other attributes unmentionable here. :-)

.....But the one thing that I will miss when I hand all of these over to Talon are the memories associated with them. I look back at 1988 and see Cindy Crawford on the cover and I remember when I thought she was the hotest woman on the planet. I remember those wild party weekends when I made seriously god-awful passes at women, usually when drunk. I still get embarrassed twenty years later thinking of some of the pick-up lines I tried to get away with using. :-)

.....I remember the huge hair and the pounds of make-up and hair care stuff that they all had. I remember when I used that stuff in my hair. Oh! My! God! I can't believe that I did that stuff with my hair. You'd laugh your head off seeing my seriously long hair racked up a good foot and platinum blond in color. :-)

.....Oooo, and Tawny Kitane. She was a favorite of mine too. She was in Playboy a couple of times.

.....I'm getting something better than all of them, but I shall still miss them all.
