Communicating With Me Is Hard...

.....The hot weather has taken its toll on my ancient desktop and laptop computers. I have spotty access to read my e-mail. Only occasional ability to download. And forget responding in any sort of timely manner. So if you sent me something this week and were wondering why you haven't heard anything, you now know at least the primary reason.

.....Wish the Shipyard would let us have access to personal e-mail again. I miss being able to do that at work. But at least they haven't taken away Live Journal yet. It gives me a little glimpse of what's happening in the 'real' world. :-) With all the access they are giving us to other web-sites, Facebook, etc., I don't see as how personal e-mail would be any more problematic to government networks than any of these other Internet functions.

.....I've been fighting off a migraine for the past day or so now. So if you think I'm acting a little loopier than usual, I probably am. Bear with me if you could. This has been happening with disappointing regularity over the past couple of months. It'll be one of the items under discussion next week at a scheduled appointment with Dr. Minteer.

.....At least it's Friday. And it's supposed to be a little cooler this weekend. Yay! :-)
