Trader Joe's?

.....Gwen / Ellainyia posted a wild rumor on Facebook that Trader Joe's was coming to Silverdale sometime in the next year. Apparently, she received this tidbit from a friend in Seattle. Trader Joe's has apparently signed a lease with a storefront already existing in Silverdale and that it just required renovations and a move-in.

.....I'm not ready to celebrate just yet, but it is a hopeful thing. Looks like Lobelia is getting paid off just in time. That slightly increased disposable income might find a new home. Sigh! :-)

Freaking Out, And Other Updates.

.....We just finished the June Faire meeting. It was slightly controlled chaos, although Talia did a Superwoman's job of trying to contain that chaos. It is four weeks before June Faire and the official Freak Dance has begun. Everyone is bouncing back-and-forth between being excited at the prospect and scared to death about how in the hell we're going to pull it off. But we always manage to do so. It's a mystery. :-)

.....Things I need to do for Talia's contracting:

.....1.) I ordered (75) bales of straw from Del's. I need to up that order to (100) bales tomorrow on the phone, and get them a check by this weekend.

.....2.) I need to reserve (19) tables and (45) chairs from Party Rentals in Poulsbo.

.....3.) Talia is going to call Waste Management for the contract, which we'll then get paid off.

.....4.) I need to get a contract to Bernie for rental of the scooter for the weekend.

.....5.) Sophia is working on getting the contract from Dragon's Mist to cover gate for June Faire.

.....6.) I need to get the Parking Contract signed and the group paid.

.....7.) The U-Haul is reserved. I need to send out a note for the Storage Unit run.

.....8.) I need to get the contract for the Shuttle signed off.

.....Things *I* need to get done for June Faire:

.....1.) Need to pull out all the banners from the Storage Unit for Branwen.

.....2.) Need to pull out some Gold Key for Kassandra and take stock of what Gold Key we have, including what racks we have. We have a volunteer and a back-up in place to handle Gold Key. Thankfully.

.....3.) I need to get with TBT and make sure we get ourselves pre-registered for June Faire.

.....4.) Need to find out what the Old Baronial is doing these days.

.....5.) Need to pull out (2) sleeping bags for Isketol and deliver them this weekend to him.

.....Things I need to get done for May Crown:

.....1.) E-mail Elonda about arrangements to transfer The Crier's accounts over to the Kingdom. This is making me a little sad, but it needs to be done.

.....2.) I need to get the final bills paid off for The Crier.

.....3.) I need to get the bank books and all records for The Crier bundled up and delivered to Elonda.

.....4.) I need to clean out Lobelia in preparation for May Crown.

.....5.) I need to gather the information from the refrigerator in Lobelia so that we can get it replaced before June Faire.

.....Lots to do as I'm sure I'm forgetting things. But it is already looking overwhelming, so I should stop now before I truly freak out. :-)
