Thinking Through The Thursday Mists.

.....Ever have one of those days where your brain is in a London fog? Today is definitely one of those days. I sat at my desk this morning and put fake sugar in my morning tea twice. Nearly singed my teeth with the fake sweetness of it. Managed to forget several computer passwords and called one of my Work Managers by the wrong name. I hope that this is not an indication of things to come. :-)
.....Last night the June Faire Board met at the local mall. I was wondering how that would work. But it sounded like a good idea initially. A big open space with plenty of seating. Heated and well lit. Sounds like a good venue? Not so much. The ambient noise level of a mall is horrendous. None of us could really hear each other. It is difficult enough on any normal day to keep the Dragon's Laire horse team moving in the same direction. Alis had to work hard to be heard and keep things moving. I think that we were all kinda glad that the meeting was rather short.
.....Returned home to find the Beloved Tamm hard at work on some card weaving. That woman is absolutely feaking amazing! She had just started a few hours earlier, already had a yard or so of trim in a difficult pattern that looked absolutely amazing. I definitely bow to her greatness, otherwise I'd start really feeling inadequate over the weeks it has taken me to warp and string my latest card weaving project. :-)
.....Tonight is the Scribal Guild meeting up in Poulsbo. I'm hoping that Tamm will want to go, but Rhys would be bored. We'll see. I'm definitely looking forward to the Scribal Workshop this weekend. It'll be good to stretch my fingers on a new calligraphy project.
.....Have a good Thursday!
