Unless some of the intentions are changing (and they could be) this event is a public demo as well as an SCA event. Demos seem to be very labor intensive (entertaining more than involving - which might be what is drawing the pirates?) for the sponsoring branch.
You could limit the people camping over but not who is coming through the door.
