.....Actually, inspired by
monkeybung's really fantastic garden from her descriptions, and the pictures I saw last year. I know, its a little on the strange side. But it was meant as a compliment, and it is the thought that counts, right? :-)
The pretty faces shed their covers green.
And wave their colours in the Spring breeze
In joyous greeting to this maid serene
Their love of her warm touch is what she sees
I watched as she wove magic intricate
Hands moving through the rich and loamy soil
The power flowing out as waves of fate
Rewarding those who will pay with their toil.
Explosions of life followed in her wake
The healthy cries of newborn energy
To be fed with the milk that she will make
As mother and as earth in synergy.
The glorious beauty of garden bright
Is wrought by the heart of this woman's rite.
