Harry Potter News for TBT.

.....We'd heard about this but hadn't actually seen it, so this is probably old news for most of you. But I wanted to have the link available for TBT. It was an interview between Oprah and J.K. Rowling concerning the new Harry Potter books that she is going to write here soon. And it is all available online at SciFi Wire.

ShareBack in April, J.K. Rowling hinted that she might write another Harry Potter novel, "maybe 10 years from now." But Friday on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the news got even better—Rowling says she has enough material in mind for not just one more book about the boy wizard, but THREE.

"I could definitely write an eighth, ninth, tenth," the writer told Winfrey. "I'm not going to say I won't. I don't think I will ... I feel I am done, but you never know."

.....I miss J.R.R. Tolkien. :-( But will read another Harry Potter, or two or three.

there is a Haprry Potter exhibit coming to Seattle, it's only west coast stop. ;)

My first thought was "Crap, I just finished my 1st edition collection". My second thought was "Tym will never let me spend the money to buy 3 more 1st editions". I have bought the collection with my money. My third thought was "Snape's dead. I won't read them."

I will admit to my one major lust - I read Harry Potter fanfiction on line. So for me the stories have never ended

Well, there is the chance that those "Harry Potter" books won't deal with Harry, but, maybe, they will tell the story of James and Lily Potter. Which you would get to see more of several of the adult characters, including Snape.
