My first entry.
Mar. 18th, 2006 04:39 pmThis might be interesting. If only because the East German Judge, Angharad, is thinking that I should have done this a long time ago.
I'm currently working on a sonnet. It is still unfinished and unpolished, but it has a decent start. This may be the best use of Live Journal. Something that I can use to keep my Sonnetry going. :-)
I stared at forests of my creation.
They were cold, dark and musty with decay.
No breath of life stirred its foundations
No light from heaven was there to show the way.
I felt a source of warmth and turned to see
A host of worthies riding two by two.
A knight and lady, a squire in the lee.
King Arthur's table, all did God renew.
I stood rooted and did not dare to start.
When they came forth and beckoned with their hands.
Then rays of light burst forth and filled my heart,
As honour and beauty filled the lands.
When the way is dark and all is filled with fear.
Seek them out, they will protect and pull you near.
It definitely has some weaknesses to it. But this was the first one I grabbed and I wanted to test out Live Journal.
See you later, Arontius.
