Life in Comparison.
Apr. 19th, 2006 07:54 pmI was feeling pretty frustrated and tired of people in general until I went to LJ and saw that I actually have it pretty good. :-)
I have an e-mail inbox full of e-mails from people who have sent me copy for The Crier that don't bother to read the list of 'Required Items' for copy inside the back cover of The Crier. But, you know, they are pretty polite to me in general when I ask them to update their copy with the proper information. They are not like the peers that have made Anne-Marie's life so miserable of late. But, you know, that may be the answer. The fact that to a person every one of those people who sent me copy were NOT peers of the realm. Makes me wonder if peerages in general just think too damned highly of themselves to be positive contributors to the Society. Hopefully that is the wrong summation on my part. :-) I'm hoping very sincerely that people like Anne-Marie are the rule rather than the exception. :-)
Anne-Marie is a goddess for her patience, that's for sure. I'm not worthy to fall at her feet! :-)
My own web-site for selling my circlets, www.ingasbo.com, is not exactly the classiest in the world. But I have friends who put it together for me for free. So at that price it is wonderful. I have silly questions come my way, but it is a very rare thing for someone to actually be rude to me like that person was to Marquessa Laurellen today.
So, instead of grumbling at the world, I think that I'll open up my new book of Morris Dance and see if I can figure out a few new steps before I go to bed. :-)
