Pre-June Faire Post.

.....I'm sitting here with my last load of 'stuff' going into Lobelia and wondering just what in the hell I'm forgetting. As usual, I've packed ten tons of 'stuff' into her already, and the one thing that I TRULY want? Of course I'll leave it behind at home.

.....Let's see, I have tunics, pants, socks, underclothes, belt, danglies, several changes of clothes, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, mouthwash, towels, washcloths, fire starters, etc., etc., etc. I can't think of anything else really.

.....I've got to run over to Clear Creek and get Lobelia stocked up on propane, and pick up some toilet paper. Shoot, must start SOON as Clear Creek closes in under an hour now. Then must go and get gas.

.....Still undecided as to whether I'm going to stay on site or not. I'm feeling hot and grubby, so may decide that a shower is a MUST. But it will be such a beautiful night on site!

.....Set up went reasonably well today. As usual there was a lot of frustration at first. We're a group of LEADERS, where everyone is convinced that their way is the right way, and everyone else had better just do it. :-) But once we settled down and started going in the SAME DIRECTION we started moving smartly.

.....A&S area is coming together rapidly. Their Excellencies and Master Andras did a nice lay-out of the erics. Her Excellency and Rebecca put up a lot of banners alongside the highway that really add a nice decorating touch to the scene. Biffies are on site. Hay is on site. Chatelaine and Gold Key pavilions are set up. At least half a dozen merchants are set up.

.....There were Baronial members setting up their encampment. Not sure if they were part of set up or not. But Angharad should know. She'll get them settled out straight away if they were being naughty. I hit up a few, asking for volunteer time, but had to get off site so that I could get Lobelia finished and on the road.

.....It was HOT today. Hope it cools down A LITTLE. No rain, mind you. But a cool breeze would be nice. :-)
