Doing A Little Catch Up.

.....I'm woefully behind on my current 'to-do' list, to the point where I'm not sure I'm going to catch up in my lifetime. :-) But we'll tackle one thing at a time, and try to be consistent, and maybe we'll at least meet equilibrium at some point.

.....It's not helping much that work is eating what's left of my brain. We're trying to close down the current Project in Georgia, and at the same time we're trying to gear up for the next couple of Projects. The phone rings when I walk in the Office at 0600 and I'm still fielding phone calls when I get home at night. One more week or so and I'm hoping that things will slow down at least a little bit.

.....On Sunday I finally buckled down and polished my SCA and Modern Resume's. 'Polished' may be a strong word though. In my opinion the SCA resme is too scattered and the modern too boring. But I was DONE messing with them. :-) I tackled the letter and muddled through what I thought might be acceptable. When I noticed my words starting to ramble I stopped, bundled everything up, and sent it all on to TBT for review and re-write. When she returned it on Monday, she did a really good job of melding her style with mine. There is just a few more things to iron out and we'll get it all submitted. Then the really hard part begins.

.....On Monday I managed to get my 2nd Quarter Crier Doomsday Report off to Godith and Elonda. I paid off the July and August issues of The Crier. And put all the Chronicler's stuff in order. Elonda and I are still working out the details of getting the accounts melded into the Kingdom's. We managed to miss each other completely at July Coronation, but we've got the beginnings of a plan. It'll be soon though.

.....Tuesday was Fight Practice. Had a good Culinary Symposium gathering. Some good discussion. Raphaella and Margret will have a fantastic Symposium I think.

.....Tonight I managed to get my 2nd Quarter Seneschal's Report put together and sent in to Countess Daedin. Took me several hours to compile all the data. Which is alway/l,;lms the case after June Faire. But most of the delay was due to waiting for the computer to catch up with what I asked it to do. Sigh! I need to just wipe that computer, but finding the time is never easy.

.....Tomorrow night I have a bunch of Seneschal maintenance items to get done and the Western Regional Pelican Notes from the last meeting, after which I'll start feeling a little better about where I am at the moment.

.....I'm already looking forward to the weekend. I'd really love to get Lobelia cleaned out completely and parked in Poulsbo. I'd also love to get the bedroom, computer room and garage mucked out as well. I am rather embarrassed looking at them. It looks much like my old bachelor pad (with room-mates) in Port Orchard, lovingly called 'The Zombie Zone'. Ack! And here I had thought I was a grown up now! :-)

.....Twenty-fifth high school reunion on Saturday. I'm really on the fence as to whether I want to go or not. It's going to be in Tacoma. I really want to see the old gang, but not sure I really want to re-connect with the group as a whole. Sounds contradictory, I know.
