.....I had thought about going to Hot Summer Lights, with the follow-on thought that I would get back home in time to go to the Twenty-Fifth High School Reunion over in Tacoma. But I slept in until past 7AM, and TBT and I didn't get out of the house for our usual Starbucks run until 9AM. After that, it just didn't seem worth it at all to leave town.

.....But that was all good in the end. We went to Lowe's to look for some supplies and ran across a really good sale on lighting. $76 bought us lights for the foyer, the computer room, TBT's bathroom, and the dining room. All really good looking ones too. The one intended for the Computer Room looks like something out of Arabian Nights.

.....Then we went home and started cleaning rooms in the house that have been neglected for a while. I finally mucked out the Computer Room and straightened up all the piles of paper. It looked a lot better after that. Then a thorough vacuuming and the rugs looked fantastic. Looked like a relatively civilized person actually worked out of this room.

.....Went for the bedroom next. Went through the closet and rid ourselves of many bags of clothes we don't wear anymore. Actually made enough space to get all of the SCA garb in there. Although there is still a bunch in Lobelia and in the wash. I'm hoping it will still all fit in there, but we'll see. Was also laughing over a few items that I've had for decades that were HUGE on me now. Could have made tents out of them. :-)

.....Lunch was at Ghandi's and their buffet. Mmmmm, good stuff. And we certainly walked out of there stuffed. Dropped off dead clothes at the Goodwill and ran to JoAnns for supplies for the Lean-To pavilions TBT wants to make with all the spare canvas I've collected from various sources over the years. I had enough stashed away for two. Wish I could find some more to make a bigger pavilion.

.....My original though had been to collect enough canvas to make a 'custom-built' pavilion is just the style and size I wanted. Took me years to collect the canvas I had. But was only about half-way to the goal any way. TBT really like the 'Lean-To' style that Cedric and Brighid recently built, so we'll go in that direction for the moment. Eventually though I'd like to go back to Panther and get a new Pavilion of the style and size we really want.

.....Went back home and finished off the bedroom and really started feeling productive. Put together the new motorized catbox and started cleaning up the piles of debris we generated with the morning's work. By that time we had accumulated another pile for the Goodwill. We also wanted to take a look for a couple of other things at Home Depot, so we took off on another excursion.

.....At the Lowe's in Silverdale we looked at conduit for pavilion poles. Really, I'd like to get some more collapsible poles from 'Into The Wind . Com', but they are really expensive. Electrical conduit is relatively cheap. But is not readily transportable. I really like twenty-five or thirty foot banner poles. TBT and I are close to working on our silk banners and I'd like to have them ready for September Crown. We'll see.

.....Lowes had some beautiful hibiscus on sale as well and we couldn't resist getting at least one. I re-potted it when we arrived home. It has a large number of buds just about to open. Coolness. :-)

.....Cleaned up the kitchen as TBT hung a bunch of pictures she had forgotten she had in the closet. I like the bedroom and hallway with pictures handing on them again. I'm a Victorian at heart. I like 'stuff' hanging everywhere and 'collections' on display. :-)

.....Dinner was done a short time ago and the dishes done. TBT is doing a final polish on our Baronial Letters of Intent. She will send it all on to me when done and I'll do a once over of it. Then it looks like it will head out into the Universe tonight.

.....I look forward to the process with a little excitement and a little dread. One day at a time, we'll make it through the process and even survive. :-)

.....Want to go to the 'Future Festival' tomorrow at the Fairgrounds. They have the lower arena set up in a style that Their Excellencies and I have discussed for June Faire. With all the 'activities' around and in the lower arena and all the camping in the upper building area, we can maintain the separateness that we have with June Faire now for the most part. It will be good to see how it works. Although the Future Festival is something on the smallish side. We'll have to picture it a lot bigger to really compare it with June Faire. Hmmmm.

.....Must review my 'to-do' list for tomorrow.
