.....Hmmmm, neither the dwarves nor Bilbo look exactly as they do in my dreams. But then again, I'm not exactly normal. :-) Seeing Kate Blanchett in Rivendell was interesting as well. But I'm still 'cautiously optimistic'. :-)

.....Can't believe we're going to have to wait an entire year before we see this thought! Hope they have something more to show at NORWESCON!!!

They have to be very careful on that though as the Tolkien estate has made it VERY CLEAR that they will litigate if Peter Jackson strays too far off the storyline of The Hobbit and too far into story lines covered more in The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales, etc. The Hobbit speaks of Dul Guldur, The Necromancer, and The White Council; but only briefly, at least in the big picture of things. So I'll be very interested to see how Peter Jackson manages to get those parts included without 'crossing the line'.

A whole year...but I have never been a patient person...I have always felt that anything worth waiting for is worth having Now ;-) Well makes something to look forward to for next year.
