So,
copper_oxide asks me...

....."If you were a famous vocalist, from what music genre would you sing?"
.....This is actually a tougher question then you might think. My musical listening taste wanders all over the spectrum of music. And it has broadened even more as I've aged as well. :-) On any given week you might find anything from Gregorian Chant to Wolgemut to '80's to Dance to Electronica to Top 40 playing on the stereo in my car. So it isn't like I am stuck to any one genre in the taste department.
.....But, if I were a famous vocalist and this now assumes that I KNOW how to sing and can sing well, then I would have to say that I would sing Operatica. Mainly because the range in scale is incredibly breathtaking and I'd feel vastly accomplished every time I finished a song. It's a cool combination of a modern musical beat mixed with the vocal stylings and fancy wording of Opera music. It's really rather a neat sound.
.....I first heard something along these lines in 'The Fifth Element'. There is a scene where the 'Space Diva' starts off with the song "Lucia di Lammermoor", which morphs into a dance song, 'The Diva Dance'. I was intrigued by the sound and did a little investigation and found a whole new genre style. There are at least a handful of albums of this style of dance and opera and I definitely enjoy the sound.
.....So, there you go. Strange, huh? But you should expect that from me now. :-)
.....Arontius / Aaron.
