.....I will say that my original post this week on peerages was born from a certain amount of frustration and need to do something about it. I may be clueless at times (I swear I was raised by wolves. I'm sure that stupidities done in my twenties also had something to do with it :-)), but I'm not a total moron. No wild posts to the Step(pe)s. No militant junta takeover attempts of the peerage council (as if). I'll continue to do my best to do a good job, if that is at all possible.

.....I will also say that I have an amazing amount of respect for people like Anne-Marie, Countess Elizabeth, Viscountess Callista and all the others who posted remarks to my ranting this week (I basically worship the ground upon which Callista walks!!! :-)). So even if I end up fundamentally disagreeing with these people, I will most definitely LISTEN to what they have to say and do my absolute best to absorb it.

.....These are people who have shaped my SCA life and I owe a lot of my personal successes in the SCA to these people. So, when they speak, I give them my attention.

.....Also, even though it may appear otherwise to some, I definitely have to go on record as saying that I'm a Royalist. The King's Word Is Law. I may rail against what I have to do within that framework at times, but I like this SCA game I'm playing, so I'll also do my best to play within its rules.

.....So, I'm still hoping that Viscountess Callista will still sit near me at Crown Council this weekend. If she avoids me there could be tears involved and a very undignified scene as I throw myself at her feet and beg for mercy. :-)

.....Back to regular posting tomorrow. Must be a full moon still, I'm mulling over another post that is causing me personal angst.
