.....When I was in High School Pep Band, we often played this song whenever the Basketball Team made a basket. It was titled 'The Merie-Go-Round-Broke-Down'. It was an incredibly fast-paced song that ran all over the scale. If you tripped even a little, you just stopped playing as there was no way you were going to catch up to everyone else before the song ended.

.....That seems to be the theme song for this week. I stepped into the hampster wheel at 6AM this morning and it spun me around so fast that I walked away from work dizzy. :-) It was meeting after meeting after meeting, with quick catch-ups of e-mail just as fast as I could in between. Not totally bad, just busy.

.....The Big Boss made it official today. He is staying in his present position until the first week of January, 2011. For two reasons he says. First, because he hasn't found anyone else with 'the capacity to take on his job'. Second, because it is more financially advantageous to leave early in 2011 rather then late Fall, 2010.

.....Oh, well, I made it this far. Guess I'm in it for the long haul.

.....Seemed to put me in a grouchy mood though. Normally, people asking short-sighted questions of the Seneschal normally doesn't set him off. Today it just seemed to irritate the heck out of him. And there were several doozies.

.....Didn't get nearly as much done this weekend as I would have liked for my first free weekend since early May. But I did make progress. But I didn't get Lobelia cleaned out. It has to go up in the Priority List. It has stuff in it and I really need to get her dumped at the Fairgrounds.

.....But I did finally manage to make my computer and iPod talk to each other. I'm getting some of my 5,400 songs loaded. :-) Not all good though, I had to upgrade iTunes to make this work and now the Black Box on the desk moves AT A GLACIER'S PACE!!! :-)

.....Ack! It's REALLY LATE. MUST GO TO BED!

"Hustler spending record amount to make a 3-D Avatar porn film

Hustler apparently just finished production on what it says is the most expensive porn film its ever made, This Ain't Avatar XXX 3D. Purists might note that the Na'vi in Avatar don't have sex, or sexual organs, but...whatever. Here's what MNN had to say about the film:

"The studio arm of the company has announced that the upcoming porn version of the film, titled 'This Ain't Avatar XXX', will be presented in 3-D. Such are the production costs, that Hustler is calling it their highest-budget flick ever produced."

The film will be available in September."

.....So, I was going to post my thoughts on June Faire last weekend. But the pain is just too damned close (and my feet STILL hurt :-)). Then I thought that I might post my hopes for next year's June Faire. But I'm holding my breath on a couple of things coming together for it.

.....Then I thought that I would post my thoughts on moving Fight Practice and the Business Meeting, but I want to maintain my neutrality as long as possible (and I'm still freakin' mad at Seaside Church for the way they've been treating us).

.....Then I thought that I would post what I have planned for the remainder of the week and this weekend. But, you know, all I really want to do is sleep and watch the TV until the drool starts pooling at my feet below my gaping mouth.

.....So, I guess what I will post is something that finally made me want to wake up and actually do something for really the first time this week. :-) TBT drew this celtic knotwork and pelican design that looks really cool. I looked at it and thought that if it was reduced it would make a fantastic etched bracelet / arm band. I'm pulling together a bunch of design ideas on a new sheet of circlet and etched metal pendants, arm bands and other pieces. If anyone has any design ideas that they think would make a nice circlet design, let me know.

.....So I'm explaining my idea of the celtic Pelican armband to TBT and she doesn't exactly share my excitement. She picks up the design, puts it back down and then slams her wrists together above her head and shouts, 'Wonder Pelicans! Activate! Form of an....A@@@@@@!'

.....Sigh! Pelicans never get the love! Damn Laurels! :-)
