.....Finally, in his last handful of days in office, President Bush is doing something that brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart. And I don't mean by leaving office by the fastest exit. It seems that President Bush has decided that government workers have been good this year and he has issued an executive order giving us the day after Christmas, December 26th, as an additional day of paid vacation. Whoot! Whoot!

.....AND, he let us know a lot earlier than he COULD have and so I have the time to arrange the remainder of my Must Leave so that I could leave for vacation a day earlier than I would have next week. So, starting Wednesday, December 17th, at 1300, I will be on leave until 0600 on January 5th. I'm salivating at the thought that vacation is so damned close. :-)

.....Four days, nineteen hours, twenty minutes, and counting... :-)
